All sites have rules, right? Well, make no mistake, we're no exception to that. Rules are especially important around here because of our plotline, which can be found here.
REGISTRATION (USERNAMES & DISPLAY NAMES)
You can register for this site using any username that you want. However, we require that you change your display name to your character's name in the following format: LAST FIRST. Why? Well, we are set in Japan - and that is how they would say/write their names. Yes, it does have to be in all capital letters. If its not, we'll change it for you - but its just easier if you do it yourself. Please do not make an OOC account for yourself. The only people who should have them are our staff members.
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS
You can have as many characters as you feel that you can handle. I'm not going to judge you. However, if you can't at least get 2-3 posts per month will all of your characters, you might be asked to drop a few. Keep in mind that you must make a separate account for each character. Luckily, though, Proboards v5 allows you to switch accounts in a few clicks - a function that will make this much simpler.
CONTENT RATING
This site is rated PG-13, as are all Proboards forums. To save time, you can just read the Proboards version of it:
We, ourselves, wouldn't have a problem with it but this rule is here strictly so we can comply with Proboards guidelines.
LABEL/TAG YOUR THREADS
You must label, or tag, any thread that you make. If you are making a closed thread, use "[c]" and include the character's name in the description. If you are making an open thread, use "[o]" and put the word open in the description. Once someone takes the thread, you should edit your original post accordingly so people know that it is no longer available.
RESPECT YOUR PEERS
Do I really have to write this out for you? Be nice to each other! I don't care if your characters hate each other. I don't even care if you hate each other. What I do care about is you letting your drama rub off on other people. Keep OOC drama in PMs and IC drama in their respective areas. If I see anyone ignoring this rule, their characters will all be deleted with or without warning. In other words, if you're on when I see it - I'll give you a chance. If not, then I'm going to apologize in advance. It might seem harsh but I just don't want to see it on this site.
WORD COUNT
There is a word count of 150 words per post. This should be more than manageable for even the newest roleplayers. I'm not going to count your posts word-for-word, of course, but since its not even going to let you post in the IC areas if you don't reach 150 words anyway, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. There's a reason that we have a word counter installed...its not for us - its so you don't accidentally try to post without having enough words.
FACE CLAIM/PLAY-BY
All face claims and play-bys should be from some anime/manga series. You can use a character from a non-animanga title as long as it has fanart done in animanga style and you are only using those sort of images. We do not allow original character artwork.
Also, multiple characters can have the same face claim as long as they are using different versions of that specific face claim. For example, no two characters can simply use Kuroko Tetsuya from Kuroko no Basuke - but one character can use Kuroko Tetsuya while another uses Fem!Kuroko Tetsuya.
MONETARY SYSTEM
We use the monetary system. Why? Because, on certain occasions, we'll be having events where if you pay a certain fee, you can get some perks that other players wouldn't get. The monetary system will make more sense in the future. For now, you can utilize it in the member lounge shops.

"User's web site may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, "spam," fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity...Threads marked as "M", "Mature", "R", "NC-17," etc. as well as boards/subboards/hidden boards/password-protected boards for this sort of content still count as violations. The terms apply to any content currently on your forum, regardless of where it is posted, and disclaimers of any type do not negate its effects."
